The current treatment for venous thrombosis during pregnancy is ineffective, primarily, due to the unique physiology of pregnant women. Most clinical medications have fetal side effects when they circulate in the body. We first synthesized nanomaterials (Cur-PFP@PC) using poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) as the base material, with curcumin (Cur) and perfluoropentane (PFP) as core components. Subsequently, we encapsulated Cur-PFP@PC into the platelet membrane to synthesize P-Cur-PFP@PC. Under ultrasound guidance, in combination with low-intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU), PFP underwent a phase change, resulting in thrombolysis. The generated microbubbles enhanced the signal impact of ultrasound, and P-Cur-PFP@PC showed better performance than Cur-PFP@PC. P-Cur-PFP@PC can target thrombosis treatment, achieve visually and precisely controlled drug release, and repair damaged blood vessels, thus avoiding the adverse effects associated with traditional long-term drug administration.

BACKGROUND: The prognostic predictive tool for patients with colorectal liver metastasis (CRLM) is limited and the criteria for administering preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy in CRLM patients remain controversial. METHODS: This study enrolled 532 CRLM patients at West China Hospital (WCH) from January 2009 to December 2019. Prognostic factors were identified from the training cohort to construct a WCH-nomogram and evaluating accuracy in the validation cohort. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was used to compare the prediction accuracy with other existing prediction tools. RESULTS: From the analysis of the training cohort, four independent prognostic risk factors, namely tumor marker score, KRAS mutation, primary lymph node metastasis, and tumor burden score were identified on which a WCH-nomogram was constructed. The C-index of the two cohorts were 0.674 (95% CI: 0.634-0.713) and 0.655 (95% CI: 0.586-0.723), respectively, which was better than the previously reported predication scores (CRS, m-CS and GAME score). ROC curves showed AUCs for predicting 1-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival (OS) of 0.758, 0.709, and 0.717 in the training cohort, and 0.860, 0.669, and 0.692 in the validation cohort, respectively. A cutoff value of 114.5 points was obtained for the WCH-nomogram total score based on the maximum Youden index of the ROC curve of 5-year OS. Risk stratification showed significantly better prognosis in the low-risk group, however, the high-risk group was more likely to benefit from neoadjuvant chemotherapy. CONCLUSIONS: The WCH-nomogram demonstrates superior prognostic stratification compared to prior scoring systems, effectively identifying CRLM patients who may benefit the most from neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Metals are recognized as important factors related to breast cancer (BC) risk. Homologous recombination repair (HRR) genes might modify the toxicity of metals by influencing the distribution and metabolism of metal compounds. This study aims to investigate the modification effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in HRR genes on the associations between urinary metals and BC risk. A total of 685 BC cases and 741 controls were recruited from October 2009 to December 2012. Twenty-one metals were analyzed in urine samples using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), and three SNPs (LIG3 rs1052536, RFC1 rs6829064, and RAD54L rs17102086) were genotyped. We identified significant interactions between four metals and two SNPs on the risk of BC. For LIG3 rs1052536 C/T variant, participants with CT/TT genotypes exposed to higher cobalt (Co) levels had higher BC risk compared to those with CC genotype (Pinteraction = 0.048). For RAD54L rs17102086 T/C variant, participants with TT genotype who were exposed to higher levels of zinc (Zn), Co, arsenic (As), and strontium (Sr) had more pronounced BC risk than the CC/TC genotypes (all Pinteraction < 0.05). This study showed compelling evidence for the interaction between genetic variants within the HRR system and urinary metals on BC risk. Our findings highlight the need to consider genetic makeup when evaluating the carcinogenic or protective potential of metals.

Coordination cages have been widely reported to bind a variety of guests, which are useful for chemical separation. Although the use of cages in the solid state benefits the recycling, the flexibility, dynamicity, and metal-ligand bond reversibility of solid-state cages are poor, preventing efficient guest encapsulation. Here we report a type of coordination cage-integrated solid materials that can be swelled into gel in water. The material is prepared through incorporation of an anionic FeII4L6 cage as the counterion of a cationic poly(ionic liquid) (MOC@PIL). The immobilized cages within MOC@PILs have been found to greatly affect the swelling ability of MOC@PILs and thus the mechanical properties. Importantly, upon swelling, the uptake of water provides an ideal microenvironment within the gels for the immobilized cages to dynamically move and flex that leads to excellent solution-level guest binding performances. This concept has enabled the use of MOC@PILs as efficient adsorbents for the removal of pollutants from water and for the purification of toluene and cyclohexane. Importantly, MOC@PILs can be regenerated through a deswelling strategy along with the recycling of the extracted guests.

Benefiting from anionic and cationic redox reactions, Li-rich materials have been regarded as next-generation cathodes to overcome the bottleneck of energy density. However, they always suffer from cracking of polycrystalline (PC) secondary particles and lattice oxygen release, resulting in severe structural deterioration and capacity decay upon cycling. Single-crystal (SC) design has been proven as an effective strategy to relieve these issues in traditional Li-rich cathodes with PC morphology. Herein, we first reviewed the main synthesis routes of SC Li-rich materials including solid-state reaction, molten salt-assisted, and hydrothermal/solvothermal methods, in which the differences in grain morphology, electrochemical behaviors, and other properties induced by various routes were analyzed and discussed. Furthermore, the distinct characteristics were compared between SC and PC cathodes from the aspects of irreversible capacity, structural stability, capacity/voltage degradation, and gas release. Besides, recent advances in layered SC Li-rich oxide cathodes were summarized in detail, where the unique structural designs and modification strategies could greatly promote their structural/electrochemical stability. At last, challenges and perspectives for the emerging SC Li-rich cathodes were proposed, which provided an exceptional opportunity to achieve high-energy-density and high-stability Li-ion/metal batteries.

Immunotherapeutic effect is restricted by the non-immunogenic tumor phenotype and immunosuppression behaviors of tumor associated macrophages (TAMs). In this work, a drug self-assembly (designated as CeBLZ) is fabricated based on chlorin e6 (Ce6) and BLZ945 to activate photodynamic immunotherapy through tumor immunogenic induction and tumor associated macrophage depletion. It is found that Ce6 tends to assemble with BLZ945 without any drug excipients, which can enhance the cellular uptake, tumor penetration and blood circulation behaviors. The robust photodynamic therapy effect of CeBLZ efficiently suppresses the primary tumor growth and also triggers immunogenic cell death to reverse the non-immunogenic tumor phenotype. Moreover, CeBLZ can deplete TAMs in tumor tissues to reverse the immunosuppression microenvironment, activating abscopal effect for distant tumor inhibition. In vitro and in vivo results confirm the superior anti-tumor effect of CeBLZ with negligible side effect, which might promote the development of sophisticated drug combinations for systematic tumor management. Gel-state polymer electrolytes with superior mechanical properties, self-healing abilities and high Li+ transference numbers can be obtained by in situ polymerization of monomers with hydrogen-bonding moieties. However, it is overlooked that the active hydrogen atoms in hydrogen-bond donors experience displacement reactions with lithium metal in lithium metal batteries (LMBs), leading to corrosion of the lithium metal. Herein, it is discovered that the addition of hydrogen-bond acceptors to hydrogen-bond-rich gel-state electrolytes modulates the chemical activity of the active hydrogen atoms via the formation of hydrogen-bonded intermolecular interactions. The characterizations reveal that the added hydrogen-bond acceptors encapsulate the active hydrogen atoms to suppress the interfacial chemical corrosions of lithium metals, thereby enhancing the chemical stability of the polymer structure and interphase. With the employment of this strategy, a 1.1 Ah LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2/Li metal pouch cell achieves stable cycling with 96.3% capacity retention at 100 cycles. This new approach indicates a feasible path for achieving in situ polymerization of highly stable gel-state-based LMBs.

Background and aims: Compulsivity contributes to the development and maintenance of multiple addictive disorders. However, the relationship between compulsivity-related cognitive features and problematic usage of the internet (PUI), an umbrella term for various internet use disorders/interfering behaviors, remains largely unclear, partly due to the multidimensional nature of compulsivity. This scoping review utilized a four-domain framework of compulsivity to consider this topic and aimed to summarize available evidence on compulsivity-related neuropsychological characteristics in PUI based on this framework. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted by applying the combination of search term to the search engines of PubMed, PsycINFO and Web of Science. A four-domain framework of compulsivity, involving cognitive flexibility, set-shifting, attentional bias, and habit learning, was used to consider its complex structure and frequently used tasks. Main findings in related PUI studies were summarized based on this framework. Our secondary aim was to compare compulsivity-related features between different PUI subtypes. Results: Thirty-four empirical studies were retained, comprising 41 task-results and 35 independent data sets. Overall, individuals with PUI showed more consistent deficits in attentional biases and were relatively intact in set-shifting. Few studies have examined cognitive flexibility and habit learning, and more evidence is thus needed to establish reliable conclusions. Moreover, most studies focused on internet gaming disorder, whereas other PUI sub-types were not sufficiently examined. Conclusion: This systematic review highlights the use of the four-domain framework for advancing understanding of mechanisms underlying compulsivity in PUI. Related therapeutic implications and future directions are discussed.

As a globally invasive quarantine pest, the cotton mealybug, Phenacoccus solenopsis, is spreading rapidly, posing serious threats against agricultural and forestry production and biosecurity. In recent years, the niche conservatism hypothesis has been widely debated, which is particularly evident in invasive biology research. Identifying the niche dynamics of P. solenopsis, as well as assessing its global invasion risk, is of both theoretical and practical importance. Based on 462 occurrence points and 19 bioclimatic variables, we used n-dimensional hypervolume analysis to quantify the multidimensional climatic niche of this pest in both its native and invasive ranges. We examined niche conservatism and further optimized the MaxEnt model parameters to predict the global invasion risk of P. solenopsis under both current and future climate conditions. Our findings indicated that the niche hypervolume of this pest in invasive ranges was significantly larger than that in its native ranges, with 99.45% of the niche differentiation contributed by niche expansion, with the remaining less than 1% explained by space replacement. Niche expansion was most evident in Oceania and Eurasia. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (0.83) and true skill statistic (0.62) indicated the model's robust performance. The areas of suitable habitats for P. solenopsis are increasing significantly and the northward spread is obvious in future climate change scenarios. North Africa, northern China, Mediterranean regions, and northern Europe had an increased invasion risk of P. solenopsis. This study provided scientific support for the early warning and control of P. solenopsis.

BACKGROUND: Dyslipidemia is frequently present in patients with diabetes. The associations of remnant cholesterol and mortality remains unclear in patients with diabetes. AIM: To explore the associations of remnant cholesterol with all-cause and cardiovascular mortality in patients with diabetes. METHODS: This prospective cohort study included 4740 patients with diabetes who participated in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey from 1999 through 2018. Remnant cholesterol was used as the exposure variable, and all-cause and cardiovascular mortality were considered outcome events. Outcome data were obtained from the National Death Index, and all participants were followed from the interview date until death or December 31, 2019. Multivariate proportional Cox regression models were used to explore the associations between exposure and outcomes, in which remnant cholesterol was modeled as both a categorical and a continuous variable. Restricted cubic splines (RCSs) were calculated to assess the nonlinearity of associations. Subgroup (stratified by sex, age, body mass index, and duration of diabetes) and a series of sensitivity analyses were performed to evaluate the robustness of the associations. RESULTS: During a median follow-up duration of 83 months, 1370 all-cause deaths and 389 cardiovascular deaths were documented. Patients with remnant cholesterol levels in the third quartile had a reduced risk of all-cause mortality [hazard ratio (HR) 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.66 (0.52-0.85)]; however, when remnant cholesterol was modeled as a continuous variable, it was associated with increased risks of all-cause [HR (95%CI): 1.12 (1.02-1.21) per SD] and cardiovascular [HR (95%CI): 1.16 (1.01-1.32), per SD] mortality. The RCS demonstrated nonlinear associations of remnant cholesterol with all-cause and cardiovascular mortality. Subgroup and sensitivity analyses did not reveal significant differences from the above results. CONCLUSION: In patients with diabetes, higher remnant cholesterol was associated with increased risks of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality, and diabetes patients with slightly higher remnant cholesterol (0.68-1.04 mmol/L) had a lower risk of all-cause mortality.

This study aimed to explore the core genes of craniopharyngioma angiogenesis for targeted vascular therapy based on single-cell nuclear transcriptome sequencing. For single-cell nuclear transcriptome sequencing, we collected six samples from the tumor center and adjacent hypothalamic tumor tissues from three patients with craniopharyngioma, as well as four normal brain tissues based on Gene Expression Omnibus. We screened genes with differential up-regulation between vascular endothelial cells of craniopharyngioma and those of normal brain tissues, performed GO and KEGG analysis, constructed the protein-protein interaction network, and selected key genes verified using immunofluorescence. After data cleaning and quality control, 623 craniopharyngioma endothelial cells and 439 healthy brain endothelial cells were obtained. Compared with normal brain endothelial cells, craniopharyngioma endothelial cells were screened for 394 differentially up-expressed genes (DEGs). GO and KEGG results showed that DEGs probably modulated endothelial cells, adherens junction, focal adhesion, migration, actin cytoskeleton, and invasion via the PI3K-AKT, Rap1, Ras, Wnt, and Hippo pathways. The core genes screened were CTNNB1, PTK2, ITGB1, STAT3, FYN, HIF1A, VCL, SMAD3, PECAM1, FOS, and CDH5. This study obtained possible anti-angiogenic genes in craniopharyngioma. Our results shed novel insights into molecular mechanisms and craniopharyngioma treatment.

Wilms tumor, the most common pediatric kidney cancer, resembles embryonic renal progenitors. Currently, there are no ways to therapeutically target Wilms tumor driver mutations, such as in the microRNA processing gene DROSHA. Here we used a "multi-omics" approach to define the effects of DROSHA mutation in Wilms tumor. We categorized Wilms tumor mutations into four mutational subclasses with unique transcriptional effects: microRNA processing, MYCN activation, chromatin remodeling, and kidney developmental factors. In particular, we find that DROSHA mutations are correlated with de-repressing microRNA target genes that regulate differentiation and proliferation and a self-renewing, mesenchymal state. We model these findings by inhibiting DROSHA expression in a Wilms tumor cell line, which led to upregulation of the cell cycle regulator cyclin D2 (CCND2). Furthermore, we observed that DROSHA mutations in Wilms tumor and DROSHA silencing in vitro were associated with a mesenchymal state with aberrations in redox metabolism. Accordingly, we demonstrate that Wilms tumor cells lacking microRNAs are sensitized to ferroptotic cell death through inhibition of glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), the enzyme that detoxifies lipid peroxides. Implications: This study reveals genotype-transcriptome relationships in Wilms tumor and points to ferroptosis as a potentially therapeutic vulnerability in one subset of Wilms tumor.

A Gram-stain-negative bacterium with a rod-to-ovoid shape, named strain M216T, was isolated from sand sediment from the coastal intertidal zone of Huludao, Liaoning Province, China. Growth was observed at 8-40 °C (optimal, 30 °C), pH 5.5-9.5 (optimal, pH 6.5) and 0.5-14.0% (w/v) NaCl (optimal, 6%). Strain M216T possessed ubiquinone-9 as its sole respiratory quinone and phosphatidylethanolamine, diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, one unidentified aminophosphoglycolipid, one unidentified aminophospholipid, two unidentified phosphoglycolipids, three unidentified phospholipids and three unidentified glycolipids as the main polar lipids. C12:0, C16:0, C12:0 3-OH, C16:1 ω9c, C18:1 ω9c and summed features 3 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c) were the major fatty acids (> 5%). The 16S rRNA gene sequence of strain M216T exhibited high similarity to those of 'Marinobacter arenosus' CAU 1620T and Marinobacter adhaerens HP15T (99.3% and 98.5%, respectively) and less than 98.5% similarity to those of the other type strains. The ANI and dDDH values between the strain M216T and 'Marinobacter arenosus' CAU 1620T were 87.4% and 33.3%, respectively; these values were the highest among the other type strains but lower than the species threshold. The G+C content of strain M216T was 58.3%. Genomic analysis revealed that strain M216T harbors the major CAZymes of GH13, GH23, GH73, and PL5, which are responsible for polysaccharide degradation and the potential ability to reduce nitrate to ammonia. Through phenotypic, genotypic, and chemotaxonomic analyses, we proposed the name Marinobacter albus sp. nov., a novel species in the genus Marinobacter, with its type strain M216T (= MCCC 1K08600T = KCTC 82894T).

Previous studies have indicated that histone methylations act as mediators in the relationship between oestrogen receptor (ER) and breast cancer prognosis, yet the mediating role has never been assessed. Therefore, we investigated seven histone methylations (H3K4me2, H3K4me3, H3K9me1, H3K9me2, H3K9me3, H3K27me3 and H4K20me3) to determine whether they mediate the prognostic impact of ER on breast cancer. Tissue microarrays were constructed from 1045 primary invasive breast tumours, and the expressions of histone methylations were examined by immunohistochemistry. Multifactorial logistic regression was used to analyse the associations between ER and histone methylations. Cox proportional hazard model was performed to assess the relationship between histone methylations and breast cancer prognosis. The mediation effects of histone methylations were evaluated by model-based causal mediation analysis. High expressions of H3K9me1, H3K9me2, H3K4me2, H3K27me3, H4K20me3 were associated with ER positivity, while high expression of H3K9me3 was associated ER negativity. Higher H3K9me2, H3K4me2 and H4K20me3 levels were associated with better prognosis. The association between ER and breast cancer prognosis was most strongly mediated by H4K20me3 (29.07% for OS; 22.42% for PFS), followed by H3K4me2 (11.5% for OS; 10.82% for PFS) and least by H3K9me2 (9.35% for OS; 7.34% for PFS). H4K20me3, H3K4me2 and H3K9me2 mediated the relationship between ER and breast cancer prognosis, which would help to further elucidate the impact of ER on breast cancer prognosis from an epigenetic perspective and provide new ideas for breast cancer treatment.

INTRODUCTION: Influenza is a major public health threat, and vaccination is the most effective prevention method. However, vaccination coverage remains suboptimal. Low health literacy regarding influenza vaccination may contribute to vaccine hesitancy. This study aims to evaluate the effect of health education interventions on influenza vaccination rates and health literacy. METHODS AND ANALYSIS: This cluster randomised controlled trial will enrol 3036 students in grades 4-5 from 20 primary schools in Dongguan City, China. Schools will be randomised to an intervention group receiving influenza vaccination health education or a control group receiving routine health education. The primary outcome is the influenza vaccination rate. Secondary outcomes include health literacy levels, influenza diagnosis rate, influenza-like illness incidence and vaccine protection rate. Data will be collected through questionnaires, influenza surveillance and self-reports at baseline and study conclusion. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION: Ethical approval has been sought from the Ethics Committee of the School of Public Health, Sun Yat-sen University. Findings from the study will be made accessible to both peer-reviewed journals and key stakeholders. TRIAL REGISTRATION NUMBER: NCT06048406.

OBJECTIVE: Although low-dose computed tomography has been proven effective to reduce lung cancer-specific mortality, a considerable proportion of surgically resected high-risk lung nodules were still confirmed pathologically benign. There is an unmet need of a novel method for malignancy classification in lung nodules. METHODS: We recruited 307 patients with high-risk lung nodules who underwent curative surgery, and 247 and 60 cases were pathologically confirmed malignant and benign lung lesions, respectively. Plasma samples from each patient were collected before surgery and performed low-depth (5×) whole-genome sequencing. We extracted cell-free DNA (cfDNA) characteristics and determined radiomic features. We built models to classify the malignancy using our data and further validated models with two independent lung nodule cohorts. RESULTS: Our models using one type of profile were able to distinguish lung cancer and benign lung nodules (BLNs) at an area under the curve (AUC) metrics of 0.69-0.91 in the study cohort. Integrating all the five base models using cfDNA profiles, the cfDNA-based ensemble model achieved an AUC of 0.95 (95%CI: 0.92-0.97) in the study cohort and 0.98 (95%CI: 0.96-1.00) in the validation cohort. At a specificity of 95.0%, the sensitivity reached 80.0% in the study cohort. With the same threshold, the specificity and sensitivity had similar performances in both validation cohorts. Furthermore, the performance of AUC reached 0.97 both in the study and validation cohorts when considering the radiomic profile. CONCLUSIONS: The cfDNA profiles-based method is an efficient non-invasive tool to distinguish malignancies and high-risk but pathologically BLNs.

The 'diabetic bone paradox' suggested that type 2 diabetes (T2D) patients would have higher areal bone mineral density (BMD) but higher fracture risk than individuals without T2D. In this study, we found that the genetically predicted T2D was associated with higher BMD and lower risk of fracture in both weighted genetic risk score (wGRS) and two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analyses. We also identified ten genomic loci shared between T2D and fracture, with the top signal at SNP rs4580892 in the intron of gene RSPO3. And the higher expression in adipose subcutaneous and higher protein level in plasma of RSPO3 were associated with increased risk of T2D, but decreased risk of fracture. In the prospective study, T2D was observed to be associated with higher risk of fracture, but BMI mediated 30.2% of the protective effect. However, when stratified by the T2D-related risk factors for fracture, we observed that the effect of T2D on the risk of fracture decreased when the number of T2D-related risk factors decreased, and the association became non-significant if the T2D patients carried none of the risk factors. In conclusion, the genetically determined T2D might not be associated with higher risk of fracture. And the shared genetic architecture between T2D and fracture suggested a top signal around RSPO3 gene. The observed effect size of T2D on fracture risk decreased if the T2D-related risk factors could be eliminated. Therefore, it is important to manage the complications of T2D to prevent the risk of fracture.

BACKGROUND: Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is a common neurological complication of anesthesia and surgery in aging individuals. Neuroinflammation has been identified as a hallmark of POCD. However, safe and effective treatments of POCD are still lacking. Itaconate is an immunoregulatory metabolite derived from the tricarboxylic acid cycle that exerts anti-inflammatory effects by activating the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) pathway. In this study, we investigated the effects and underlying mechanism of 4-octyl itaconate (OI), a cell-permeable itaconate derivative, on POCD in aged mice. METHODS: A POCD animal model was established by performing aseptic laparotomy in 18-month-old male C57BL/6 mice under isoflurane anesthesia while maintaining spontaneous ventilation. OI was intraperitoneally injected into the mice after surgery. Primary microglia and neurons were isolated and treated to lipopolysaccharide (LPS), isoflurane, and OI. Cognitive function, neuroinflammatory responses, as well as levels of gut microbiota and their metabolites were evaluated. To determine the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effects of OI in POCD, ML385, an antagonist of Nrf2, was administered intraperitoneally. Cognitive function, neuroinflammatory responses, endogenous neurogenesis, neuronal apoptosis, and Nrf2/extracellular signal-related kinases (ERK) signaling pathway were evaluated. RESULTS: Our findings revealed that OI treatment significantly alleviated anesthesia/surgery-induced cognitive impairment, concomitant with reduced levels of the neuroinflammatory cytokines IL-1ß and IL-6, as well as suppressed activation of microglia and astrocytes in the hippocampus. Similarly, OI treatment inhibited the expression of IL-1ß and IL-6 in LPS and isoflurane-induced primary microglia in vitro. Intraperitoneal administration of OI led to alterations in the gut microbiota and promoted the production of microbiota-derived metabolites associated with neurogenesis. We further confirmed that OI promoted endogenous neurogenesis and inhibited neuronal apoptosis in the hippocampal dentate gyrus of aged mice. Mechanistically, we observed a decrease in Nrf2 expression in hippocampal neurons both in vitro and in vivo, which was reversed by OI treatment. We found that Nrf2 was required for OI treatment to inhibit neuroinflammation in POCD. The enhanced POCD recovery and promotion of neurogenesis triggered by OI exposure were, at least partially, mediated by the activation of the Nrf2/ERK signaling pathway. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings demonstrate that OI can attenuate anesthesia/surgery-induced cognitive impairment by stabilizing the gut microbiota and activating Nrf2 signaling to restrict neuroinflammation and promote neurogenesis. Boosting endogenous itaconate or supplementation with exogenous itaconate derivatives may represent novel strategies for the treatment of POCD.
